BACKGROUND

I was researching Tabi and she just seamed like such a great person to have on because of some interviews I found online... Boy, was she ever a fantastic guest! Listen now and below's some info about her + show notes. :) -Ryan Jay Owens

BIO

Tabitha Ashly Love

Born:        11-09-1991
Height:         cm

Position:    Receiving Spiker, Opposite Spiker

From small town in Manitoba, Canada. Oldest of 4 children. Started playing volleyball at age 12. First attended the University of Minnesota. Was named Most Outstanding Player of the region in the Elite Eight my freshman year. After my sophomore year I transferred to UCLA. In my junior year we won the national championship and I was named PAC 12 honorable mention. In my senior year I was named First Team All American, PAC 12 team, AVCA All Pacific a Regional team, NCAA POW. Next I went to PR to play professionally. I was named to the PR All Star Team. For the 2013-2014 year I played in Poland. Finished the first half the season leading in kills and points but then got injured. Played with the national team this past summer and was named MVP and Best Spiker at the World Championship Qualifications. Now I play in Baku!

I really enjoy running camps in the summers while I am back at home. I love giving back to the community that raised me. I also enjoy being able to donate shirts, shorts, extra knee pads, bags, jackets, etc. to the woman's shelter after each season. We are always given so much!
